Library Director - Madeline Helser, MSLIS
Madeline started her library career in Indiana in 2011, where she got her first library job as an assistant in the Children's section. She got her Master's Degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015. She then moved on to South Carolina, where she worked as a youth services manager, a county-wide youth services coordinator, and a library branch manager. Before moving to Vermont, they worked as an executive director for a poverty focused non-profit, as a children's musical theater director, as a florist, then finally as a coordinator for a non-profit that worked with food rescue. Madeline lives in Jamaica with their partner Vera, their two cats, and of course Lottie, the library dog, who you will often meet when visiting the library.

Lynnea is our Saturday library assistant, always coming up with new crafts and programs for the youth. You'll find her and her twin girls hanging out every Saturday! |
Ruby Hallenbeck, Library Assistant
Ruby Hallenbeck is our "junior" library assistant. She fills in on Thursday afternoons. She is a student at Leland & Grey. Ask her what she's been reading lately! |
